2. Site Assessment & Project Consultation (Optional)

Upon request, our team will provide you with a digital consultation to measure and evaluate your build site, and provide you with a detailed assessment report. This step helps identify any unique considerations and engineering documents required for your project.

With six sizes available ranging from 15-feet up to 42-feet in diameter, a Growing Dome can be assembled in a variety of spaces for a variety of uses. We recommend you review our Getting Started Guide to learn about:

Growing Dome placement, Permitting, Foundation preparation, Owner supplied items estimate, Build time estimates each kit size.

Cost: $500 Assessment Fee
Timeline: 2 weeks

3. Request a Quote

You can request a quote from us at any time to specify your Growing Dome project, receive personalized estimates for freight, taxes, and additional information relevant to your location. Helpful for project planning and budgeting.

Once you’re ready to proceed, reply to the Quote Request Email to finalize your Growing Dome’s add-on and upgrade options. 

We will confirm the production timeline and answer all your questions before manufacturing your dome. Engineered plans will be provided for your Growing Dome size, and selected foundation option. Engineering plans can be provided prior to ordering through an NDA process.

Timeline: 2 to 3 business days
Documentation: Personalized Quote, NDA, Project Plan Report, Project Planning Agreement (depending on requests)

4. Order Finalization & Product Fabrication

Once you are ready to proceed, Arctic Acres will begin manufacturing your Growing Dome(s) at our facility, including all your selected upgrades and prediscussed customizations. We will keep you updated on the progress of your Growing Dome and inform you when it’s ready for delivery. 

Cost: 50% Deposit (refunded if permit is rejected)  
Timeline: Upon customer confirmation
Documentation: Sales Agreement, Purchase Invoice 1, Online Portal access

5. Permit Submission & Approval

Using the plans provided in the step above, the owner or authorized project manager is responsible for submitting documentation to their local municipality or permitting authority in your region.

If additional paperwork or information is required, contact your assigned Arctic Acres representative, and we’ll assist throughout this process. 

Cost: Municipal fees (varies per region)
Timeline: 4 to 8 weeks

6. Shipping & Delivery

When your Growing dome is fabricated and ready to ship, we’ll confirm the delivery information with you. Partnering with trusted carriers, or through direct delivery (when available), we ensure the safe delivery of your Growing Dome kit. 

Cost: Remaining 50% of Growing Dome invoice due prior to shipment 
Timeline: 1 day - 2 weeks (location dependent) 
Documentation: Purchase Invoice 2 

7. On-Site Preparation & Installation

You have to have your foundation complete prior to installation of Growing Dome.

Based on the foundation design in your engineering documents, you or a hired local contractor can prepare your build site. To optimize your building process, it can be best to consider and begin your Growing Dome’s site preparation prior to delivery.

Whether through our Builder Network or a local contractor, your Growing Dome installer can assist in finalizing installation timelines, review site-specific considerations, and coordinate any customizations desired.

Cost: Project and contractor-specific 
Timeline: 4 to 6 weeks 

8. Growing Dome Kit Assembly

Your Growing Dome installer will begin assembly and installation, or you choose a DIY approach. While Arctic Acres does not construct your project, we provide detailed guides instructions, and offer remote support to assist both you and your contractor throughout the building process.

You will already have access sent to your email for our online portal. This includes detailed walkthroughs and guides for your specific dome size, foundation option, and upgrade options.

7. Enjoy Your Growing Dome!

Congratulations! You’re now ready to flourish 365 days a year with your new Growing Dome!
